Muscle Maker Grill Named Best Healthy Takeout in Bergen County 2/7/2011

ENGLEWOOD, N.J. – Muscle Maker Grill announces it has been named the Best Healthy Takeout in (201) Magazine’s 2011 “Best of Bergen” Readers Poll. This marks the 5th annual poll conducted by the magazine, which recognizes Bergen County’s best businesses in a variety of categories ranging from restaurants and coffee shops to retail stores, gyms, and spas. The winners are selected by a combination of readers’ votes and experts’ picks.

“We’re honored to have been voted the Best Healthy Takeout by (201) Magazine,” said Rod Silva, founder of Muscle Maker Grill. “Earning the award shows that we are meeting our commitment to provide convenient, healthy food that tastes great. We hope to bring more restaurants to Bergen County in the near future.”

In naming Muscle Maker Grill the Best Healthy Takeout, the magazine described the restaurant’s food as “flavorful takeout your waistline can afford.” In closing, the magazine’s editors stated that Muscle Maker Grill’s mission to deliver healthy fast food “deserves applause.”

Muscle Maker Grill’s three Bergen County restaurants are located in Edgewater, Englewood and Oakland. Muscle Maker Grill was founded in New Jersey in 1995 by Silva with the goal of offering people a nutritious alternative to fast-food restaurants. A fitness enthusiast since he was 18, Silva recognized a void in the marketplace for tasty, healthy meal options.
